Stocksbridge ended a memorable campaign with a win to extend their unbeaten run to nine games and also secure a sixth-placed finish.
Rory Coleman continued his prolific run of goals with a double. He scored his first goal of the afternoon in the sixth minute after pouncing to score the rebound from Scott Ruthven’s saved shot.
Belper equalised on the hour mark from the penalty spot. Goalkeeper David Reay fouled Eric Graves and was unable to save Alex Steadman’s spot kick.
Stocksbridge won a penalty of their own after. Keegan Burton was the player who was felled and Coleman rattled home his 21st goal of the campaign by scoring from the spot.
The home side had numerous chances to seal the final day victory, but goalkeeper Dan Haystead kept Belper in it right to the death.
