Steels travel to Newcastle - Preview

Stocksbridge Park Steels travel to Newcastle Town looking to continue their recent improvement.

Steels picked up their first win of the season after beating Sheffield 2 1 on Monday thatmade it four points from the last six games.

Boss Chris Hilton says there is still room for improvement. “It was nice to get the first

win under our belts,” said Hilton. “But we’ve got to learn to look after the ball better

than we did while our passing in the final third needs to be much better, but at least wenow seem to be heading in the right direction.

“It will be tough at Newcastle, they’ve had a decent start but if we perform like we did in the second half at Bedworth then we should get a favourable result. Corey (Gregory) (pictured) also looks like being ready to return which is a big boost for us as he brings adifferent dimension to the team.”

Newcastle have won both their opening two games at home beating AFC Rusden & Diamonds 1-0 then 3-1 against Basford United last weekend.
