Steels Fail to Impress

Steels suffered a poor result against a poor Northwich Victoria losing 3-0 at Northwich. In fairness Northwich played the better football in the 2nd half and Steels were lucky to lose only by 3.

1st half was a poor half for both teams, with chances for and few between. Although Crofts had a penalty decision go against him when he seemed to be hacked down by the Vics defender but the referee deemed he went down to easily. The only other highlight was a Joe Lumsden (pictured) shot. Which went wide.

2nd half Vics came out the stronger team, played better football, while Steels lost momentum. The goals came midway through the second half and the Vics didn't have to get out of second gear to get them either.

With a big local derby against Shaw Lane on Tuesday Chris Hilton will be looking for his players to show some character.
