Stocksbridge PS 0 Spennymoor Town 0

Chris Hilton was forced into using his full squad after knocks were picked up in the awesome win against Kidsgrove. Both Lumsden and Mcfadyen (pictured) were missing and 4 others were strapped up by Shaun Handisides who has is work cut out at the moment.

Steels started well but it was Spennymoor who grabbed the 1st goal with their 1st attack of the game which was a great counter attack.

The rest of the half was an even affair and Spennymoor went in at half time 1-0 up.

The second half was very similar but Steels were still stuggling with injurys and had to use their full quota of subs. Once again it was Spennymoor that broke through the Steels defence to make 2-0.

Steels were still in the game and the lively Crofts almost broke the offside trap but was deemed offside and Burbeary ensured the keeper kept warm with a blistering shot which was fumbled over.

But in the end Steels couldn't break Spennymoor down and the visitors held on to a 2-0 comfortable win.
