Belper Town 0 Stocksbridge PS 0
In a hard-fought 0-0 draw Steels started and ended the game the stronger of the two teams.
Joe Lumsden shot across the face of goal in the first minute. Again Lumsden in the 4th minute and hit a good shot straight at Scott Low.
The Steels went close on 14 minutes when skipper Liam McFadyen headed just over from a corner kick.
Scott Ruthven forced a fine stop from Scott Low on 36 minutes and from the corner kick, Ruthven against the post.
The home side came close to scoring on 55 minutes with Wiggins-Thomas setting up Graves for a first time shot that was blocked by Matt Reay.
Adam Hinchliffe struck a hard shot at the near post that Scott Low saved well
Matt Reay did well in the 84th minute when he headed just over the bar and the Nailers were living dangerously as Steels looked the most likely to score.
Steels thought they had scored when Harrison Biggin's free kick hit the underside of the crossbar and clearly crossed the line. Moments later Joe Lumsden forced a block from Low with minutes to go. With nearly the last kick of the game Harrison Biggins shot from 15 yards and again Low was in the right place to prevent a Stocksbridge winner.
