Stocksbridge Park Steels travel to Peterborough Sports aiming to make it six unbeaten after coming from behind three times to beat Leek Town 4-3 earlier in the week scoring twice inside the last nine minutes.
While delighted with their upsurge in form, Steels boss Chris Hilton says they need to tighten up a little at the back said: “ We’ve started scoring goals now but we’re letting in too many for me, so we need to get the balance right.
“We are picking up points which is important and we’re five unbeaten so you have to be happy with that.”
Hilton felt Tuesday’s win over Leek was an entertain affair against a very good side. “ It was end to end and I’m sure it was good for the supporters to watch if not the managers.
Leek are a good team so to come back three times to win shows the determination and commitment of the players not to get beaten.
“We’ll got to Peterborough and try and keep the unbeaten run going, They’ve lost the last two and had a game at Corby on Wednesday evening so hopefully that will have taken a little bit out of them.”
Hilton confirmed there are no injuries from the midweek game other than usual bumps and bruises and that Jack Poulton was available for selection again.
