Steels away at Corby

by: Paul Webster

Stocksbridge Park Steels have their second away trip in four days as Chris Hilton side make the 200 mile plus round trip to fourth bottom Corby Town.

Steels will travel with confidence restored after bouncing back from last weekends disappointing 1-0 home defeat against Market Drayton Town to thump Lincoln United 5-1 despite having to play for around an hour with ten-men, a result that lifted Hilton’s men to fourth in the table.

Corby have won only one in the last 11 league and cup outings which came in a 2-1 victory at Market Drayton a fortnight ago and have not tasted victory on home soil since defeating Romulus 5-1 on the opening day of the season
