Steels get draw against bottom club

Stocksbridge PS 1 Gresley 1

Bottom club Gresley could count themselves unfortunate not to get all three points.

Although their goal was a bit fortunate after David Reay saved Ryan Robbins penalty but was judged to have moved off his line, and Robbins scored at the second attempt.

Steels took the lead in the 1st half through Brodie Litchfield after good work from Joe Lumsden. But Gresley came back into the game having two good shouts for penaltys, one of which Gresley could feel aggrieved about, the referee leaving the decision to his assistant.

Referee Mr Howard and Stocksbridge will probably count this as a bad day at the office.
