Bedworth v Steels - Preview

By Paul Webster

Stocksbridge Park Steels travel to take on third-placed Bedworth United on Saturday

The hosts are almost assured of a play-off spot and go into the game having won three of the last four league outings.

Steels boss Chris Hilton conceded his own sides play-of hopes had gone following last weekend surprise 2-0 home defeat against struggling Newcastle Town as the visitors won for the first time in nine games.

Any lingering hopes of making the play-offs were ended on Wednesday evening when Stocksbridge slipped to a second successive defeat losing 2-1 at lowly Kidsgrove after Brodie Litchfield had given Hilton side a first half lead as Steels go to Bedworth looking to avoid a third defeat in eight days.
