HILTON ASKS FOR CALM

Steels manager Chris Hilton has spoken for the first time about the frustrations and issues he seems to face continually this season.

With some supporters unhappy with the results after Saturdays home loss to Pickering Town, he wants to assure everyone associated with the club, he and his staff and players are under no illusions as to whats needed to correct the problem.

"its been great to see so many new and old supporters coming and showing such support, I just want them to know we are working hard to turn things around and show on the field we are progressing as well as we are off it, without looking for excuses, we have had a few injuries and suspensions to deal with, and we have still played attractive football, which is the way I, and also the supporters would want us to play. I have spoken with the Chairman and know I have support from the board. Players know its down to us now to start getting results, and we are constantly looking at improvements to the side, but feel we have enough to start progressing and moving up the table. And with a bit of Luck going our way and with your support we will succeed, Saturdays trip to Cleethorpes will be a big 6 pointer for both sides".
