FROST ADDED TO STEELS SQUAD

Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One East club Stocksbridge Park Steels have signed experienced forward Danny Frost from Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division side Maltby Main.

Frost has unfinished business with Steels after signing for the club before but never played due to injury.

Known as ‘The Ice Man’, Frost was a NCEL Premier Division title-winner with the sadly now defunct Shaw Lane AFC in 2015.

Frost joined Maltby in the summer after a spell with NPL Division One West side Trafford.

He crossed the Pennines from Frickley Athletic in February 2018 but suffered a serious head injury in April after sliding into a barrier, causing the game against Colwyn Bay to be abandoned.

Frost started his career at Barnsley then went onto Gainsborough Trinity before joining the likes of Winterton Rangers, Pontefract Colliery, Bradford Park Avenue, Ossett Town, where he enjoyed a lengthy spell, Ossett Albion and Tadcaster Albion. Frost teams-up with two other new Steels forwards.

Nineteen-year-old James Morris joins having been released by SkyBet League One side Doncaster Rovers.

Morris is a graduate of Rovers` academy and made his senior debut for the club last season in the Checkatrade Trophy against Sunderland under-23s.

They join former Sheffield United winger Kler Heh.
