Freshville FC 3 Stocksbridge PS Reserves 1
Steels reserves suffered only there second league defeat since September in their away game at Frecheville.
They started the game really well and controlled the opening twenty minutes taking the lead when Shepherd converted a great through ball from Webster, however a lack of concentration five minutes later resulted in Crofts fouling in the box and giving away a penalty which was easily converted to allow Frecheville back into the game.
With the score level at half time and playing up the slight slope Steels knew they would have defend well in the second half, but another mistake on fifty five minutes allowed the opposition to take the lead.
Steels reacted well and created three good chances but poor finishing meant they couldn't take advantage, Frecheville's third goal came in the last minute from another penalty so overall a disappointing afternoon for Steels who remain in fourth place.
