Spalding Utd 0 Stocksbridge PS 1

Report: Roger Gissing Photos: Ian Revitt

Not a classic but 3 well deserved points for the Steels, a classic it wasn't, very little football but plenty of endeavour from both sides as Stocksbridge took another step towards safety.

With both sides desperate for points a magic moment from Morris secured a win for the Steels, in a game littered with errors and little to cheer it was good to see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Sad to see Danny Frost go off with an injury early in the first half, as he is starting to show some promise up front, but it was skipper Mac and the most impressive Reece Fielding who kept the side together with another majestic display.

And it was the only passage of football that secured the points for Steels when Morris scored his first goal for the club in style and earned the 3 points.
