Stocksbridge Park Steels 2 Worksop Town 2
Photos: Peter Revitt Within only a minute on the clock, The Steels found themselves a goal down, and again decision making was to lead to another mistake, players stood and watched and waited for the ball to go out of play, it didn't and led to Worksop taking a first minute lead, with a simple cross and a nod past the keeper, it was going to be uphill from then until half time, with both sides cancelling each other out.
The second half started brightly with Steels pushing forward, and the side started to dominate, on 54 minutes Josh Nodder (pictured) found himself in acres of space, on the left wing, struck the ball into the Worksop box, the ball sailed over the keeper, hit the inside of the post and into the net. The few home supporters who had turned out must have thought their luck was changing, and perhaps Steels were going to go on and win the game.
However the game became very scrappy with both sides losing the ball in good positions, and again it was an error that led to Worksop's second goal after 81 minutes.
It looked like defeat was inevitable as both sides pushed forward, but it was the Steels never say die attitude that paid off with an error this time from the Worksop defence that allowed Reece Fielding to smash the ball home for the equaliser.
The Steels are now 7th in the league, only 5 points off top spot, where Carlton Town sit, who are our next visitors to Look Local Stadium, Stocksbridge Park Steels on the 23rd November
