Steels romped home to 4-2 victory, Josh Nodder, who scored twice, Scott Ruthven, and Luke Mangham were the Scorers.
The win moves Stocksbridge into the play-off positions, only 5 points behind leaders Stamford.
The game didn't start exactly how Chris Hilton's men would have liked it, within 5 minutes the visitors have won themselves a corner and after some untidy defending the ball was struck home by Jack Van De Laan from the edge of the area.
It wasn't long before Stocksbridge equalised through a Josh Nodder header, after The Steels had got back into the game playing some neat football. And one minute later the home side took the lead, again through Josh Nodder with the goal of the game, a left foot strike from just outside the area.
By the end of the half Stocksbridge were playing some excellent football and Just before half-time November player of the month Scott Ruthven increased the lead. But there was yet more to come, when Luke Mangham made it four just before the whistle blew for the break and everything was looking quite comfortable for the home side.
Steels started second half strongly but as the game went on the visitors Newcastle Town started to pass the ball around and cause the Steels defence one or two problems. And then on 77 minutes they reduced the deficit after a scrambled goal by Taylor Attrell.
Stocksbridge have now scored 9 goals in their last 2 League games, these are exciting times at the Look Local Stadium with the next home game being on Saturday 21st December when Kidsgrove Athletic visit Stocksbridge.
